Federal Census Records
When it comes to expanding your personal family history, census records are the perfect place to start! We offer several ways to search them.
Early censuses were essentially basic counts of inhabitants, but as the nation grew so did the need for statistics that would reflect the characteristics of the people. Few, if any, records reveal as many details about individuals and families as do the U.S. censuses. The same can also be true of census records taken at the state level and in foreign countries.
